Very Inky Fingers!

This little flowery thingy, which is totally inspired by Wendy Vecchi's lovely art, is my entry for this weeks Compendium of Curiosities Challenge No. 30, Altered Metal with Paint, and the Sunday Stamper Challenge, which this week is Sentiments. Today was a day off from work, and my lovely postman has just brought me some Adirondack Colorwash, so I just had to have a play, and have used them for the background.

I've followed the instructions on page 48 of the Cof C's for my flower centers. The stamps are all Studio 490 which I haven't used for a while, and I don't know why because I love them! And now I have to try and make my hands slightly presentable as I'm at work tomorrow, and bright blue/green fingers are not a good look for Antenatal Clinic! Note to Self: wear gloves next time use Colorwash!!!

Susie, this is such a breath of fresh air on a cold, cloudy day! What a gorgeous card, with a sweet and inspiring theme, and your painted metal flower centers look great! I love the delicate little butterfly and the stunning colorwashed background. Spectacular job!
